As an experienced speaker, I am used to presenting to a wide range of audiences. The following examples will give you a flavour:
- Talking to a group of about 40 Institute of Directors’ members and guests about managing implementation risk i.e. all the obstacles that can get in your way when trying to implement your business plan, and what you can do about it.
- Being the lunchtime entertainment at a Women in Business networking event, explaining to about 20 members how you go about grooming your business for sale.
- Co-hosting an interactive breakfast seminar with the senior partner of a regional law firm, again on the implementation risk theme.
- Participating in a formal debate hosted by the Managing Partners’ Forum on the subject of corporate entrepreneurship (more specifically, is entrepreneurship stifled by established cultures), in front of an audience of about 60 people.
- Addressing around 180 visitors representing Eastern European corporations on setting up UK operations, at an event hosted at Cass Business School by the Cass Entrepreneurs Network.
